This week has been a blast!
Not only we had a long weekend (short break in Cotswold), we also attended 2 rock concerts.
Tenacious D is an American rock band composed of lead vocalist and guitarist Jack Black and lead guitarist and vocalist Kyle Gass. Dav is a big fan after we watched their featured film, Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny. The concert was held in Brixton Academy. We’ve never been in this venue before but was surprised to find the flooring is a slope which allows the short spectator some viewing space.
The guest appearance was some American punk band which wasn’t really good. Cant even remember their name now. Dav classified them as ‘shiok sendiri’ band. hhahahahaha
When they came on stage, the devil’s horn was put up then few seconds later, a hugh penis was put up too. What a surprised! Cant believe they did that. They are such entertainers, after every song they would coordinate their actions and take a bow at the audience. We really enjoyed the show. Too bad I didnt listen to their new songs before the concert. Felt really missed out when everyone else was singing along to the song.
This concert was held in O2 and it was a mistake to buy the tickets from my company’s Sports & Social… we were sitted right at the top on Level 4! We can hardly see them… but the sound system and light sequence was very good.
They had 2 special guest, Four Year Strong which we dont know and The All American Rejects, which we do know. It was a really good surprise. It felt like we pay for one concert but went to two concerts.
