Dav and I have always wanted to walk more since our Dorset trip but things keep popping up and then it was winter.

2 weeks ago my colleague found a walking group organising a 7 miles walk (ie 11km) in the country side. She invited us knowing we would be keen to try join. This was our first long distance walk and it will be walking in the dark (after sunset).

The walk wasnt too difficult.. not too leisurely but was done at a good pace. It was really dark and at times we wouldnt know what we’re stepping on. We took about 3.5 hours to complete the walk which according to the leader was really fast.

Evening Walk – Gomshall to Guildford
Come join us and our friends in the Hammersmith, Fulham & Wandsworth Group for a walk in the moonlight (hopefully) through Shere, St. Martha’s Hill and Chantries.

Finish point: Guildford station

Travel: Take the 14:45 from London Waterloo (14:52 Clapham Jct) and arrive Guildford 15:23. Depart
Guildford 15:48 and arrive Gomshall 16:03.
Note: Bring packed dinner and drinks. Will stop for refreshments at the end.

You must call the leader if you wish to attend the walk as plans could alter due to engineering works or weather. PLEASE BRING A TORCH!
